Race Overview: This looks nailed on for Alizadora, with
Drawnfromthepast and newcomer Victorian Bounty the ones to chase her
home. It is not often that Sir Mark Prescott saddles a winning juvenile
first time, so we can assume that Alizadora is useful, although the form
of her Nottingham success is nothing special. Jockey Seb Sanders made
the right choice in staying on the stands side that day as she kept on
well to score, and she now gets the chance to back the form up herself.
It is interesting that she was pencilled in for a Group 3 race in
Ireland on Monday, so with that in mind she should be more than capable
of following up in this lesser contest. Drawnfromthepast stayed on well
behind Mick Channon's Yem Kinn in a decent maiden at Ascot, and will
surely open his account before too long. He will appreciate this
slightly longer trip, and can give the selection most to do. Eoghan
O'Neill always has some speedy two-year-olds, so Victorian Bounty should
be watched in the market on his debut, but the experience of Alizadora
should enable her to defy a penalty in the opener.

Race Overview: Diminuto can follow up in the finale, with
Hereford Boy, Mr Loire and Silver Hotspur taken to chase him home. This
should not take that much winning, and although the recent success of
Diminuto came on the Southwell Fibresand, he lines up in good heart and
should be capable of following up, although he would really prefer
faster ground based on past efforts. His recent form should offset that
negative though, as none of his rivals look up to scratch. Hereford Boy
looks the main danger, as he handled the easier ground when successful
over the course-and-distance the time before last, but that was a poor
affair, and he has since been turned over at Lingfield. Mr Loire has
blinkers on for the first time today but has topweight to overcome,
while Silver Hotspur has an absence to overcome, and if attempting to
make all, will no doubt tire when it matters. So, the finger points very
much to Diminuto.
