Newcastle confirmed today that a
consortium backed by Polygo has made an offer for the club.
Another company looking into Newcastle's books is Belgravia,
although they have not come out with an official statement
yet, despite being challenged to do so by the club
management.
Statement from Newcastle United PLC this afternoon
confirmed: 'The board wish to reiterate that they have not
accepted any proposals for the company from any party, nor
is any due diligence being conducted on the company."
