Abramovich
to invest in Russian soccer
The Russian billionaire Roman
Abramovich is looking to invest $40 mill. in the Russia's
National team. He is hoping for reviving similar to the one
of Chelsea. He is investing into building a new training
facility, which should be ready by 2008, and is thinking of
building a new stadium. The money is the latest part of an
ambitious plan by the country's richest man to lift Russian
soccer up from the doldrums it has been in since the
collapse of the Soviet Union.
