Valencia
asks for £100m
Valencia is asking any club interested
in David Villa to start the bidding at £100m. According to
Juan Soler, the president of Valencia, Chelsea has not made
an offer for the Spanish striker, and he is still available.
The British press published reports saying that Villa is at
the top of the Chelsea's January transfer list, but Valencia
will only let him leave if the £100m price is met. The
sporting director of Chelsea, Frank Arnesen, insisted he was
unaware of any interest in Villa.
