West Ham slammed with £5.5 million fine

The club was found guilty for withholding documentation for the transfer of Tevez and Mascherano and fined £5.5 million. West Ham avoided points deduction which would have automatically sent them to the Championship next year.

Earlier today Carlos Teves was cleared to continue playing for West Ham. According to a statement from the club, "The actual registration of Carlos Tevez has not been called into question and he remains a West Ham United player approved by the Premier League.
