Real Madrid wants Cristiano
Ronaldo
Real Madrid has confirmed their interest in
signing the Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese
player is currently engaged in talks with the management of the Red
Devils for renewing his contract, which would expire in 2010, and has
voiced publicly his desire to stay in Manchester for as long as he can.
Ramon Calderon, the president of Real Madrid, did express interest in
the young winger, if he becomes available, but denied the price tag of
80 million Euros, saying that no player is worth that much money. Real
are also trying to attract Kaka away from AC Milan. |
