Sepp Blatter cools off England's
hopes
Fifa's president, Sepp Blatter, who is
currently in London, is raising doubts that England would host the World
Cup in 2018, if Fifa's committee decides in December that they will
continue with the rotation policy. If this happens, the World Cup will
go either to North America or Asia. The united States had made public
their intentions to host the Cup for the second time, while Australia
and China had done the same for the Asian federation.
Blatter had given hope to England, saying
that the country has a very good chance of winning, if it was decided
that the World Cup would be hosted in Europe in 2018, as the country is
an example of great infrastructure and securty.
