Rooney due for a knee scan

Wayne Rooney is scheduled today to undergo a knee injury scan, which will determine the size of the problem. He was injured during the game with Liverpool (0-1) and so far he seems to be out of the squad for the important game on Wednesday against Lille for the Champions league.

When he got injured during the tackle with Jamie Carragher from Liverpool in the 73', he was substituted by O'Shea, who scored the victory goal for Manchester.
