Pressure on McClaren to bring back Beckham

The pressure over Steve McClaren to bring back David Beckham to the England's national team is rising. Beckham has not been called to the squad since McClaren took over the position from Eriksson. But during interviews Owen and Lineker both have been quite vocal to the fact that the team is missing out on the chance to have Beckham, and that the coach should consider calling him to the team.

Englad are currently holding third place in the Euro 2008 qualifiers, suffering a draw from Macedonia and defeat in Croatia. This is understandably unacceptable for both the fans and the team, and some believe that Beckham would be able to help the team revive, as it is most likely that his international carrier would come to an end once he moves far away to the other side of the Ocean.
