Despite the fight that Reading put up
against Manchester U., the red Devils advance in the FA Cup.
Manchester United took the early lead
by scoring 3 goals in the first 6 minutes after a great
misunderstanding by the Reading's defense. Heinze, Saha and
Solskjaer took advantage of the shaken defense in the 2',
4', and 6' respectively. Although a big blow to the mental
condition to any team, this score did not discourage
Reading, and the team fought to the end, returning two
goals. After that Reading did their best in seeking the
equalizer, but with no luck.
Despite the fact that Manchester is
advancing, the win should by no means satisfy Sir Alex
Ferguson, for his team allowed Reading to lead the game,
after the initial three goals.
