Chelsea is shortening the distance
with Manchester at least for one day, after beating Charlton
today. John Terry had the chance to play towards the end of
the game, after recovering from his back surgery and getting
in shape for future full time games. Even though Chelsea won
only with one goal scored, this was enough to put pressure
on the Red Devils to win their upcoming game with Tottenham
and regain the comfortable six points lead they had over
Chelsea. The goal for the Blues was thanks to Lampard who
took advantage of a bad situation for Charlton and scored a
nice goal for the victory.
