Beckham to
play in USA
In a surprise twist the famous soccer
player has agreed to play for an USA team. Beckham signed a
contract with LA Galaxy and the five year deal reportedly is
worth £128 million.
Although Beckahm justifies the move with limited
opportunities in Spain, it is obvious to everyone that this
move was motivated by money only. it's a well know fact that
many famous European players decide to end their careers in
America, which is more like a vacation before a retirement.
Fabio Capello, the coach of Real Madrid with which Beckham
still has a contract till the end of June, was not happy
about the move and publicly announced that he will not let
the English player take part in any game for the duration of
his contract. Capello sees the new contract as a burden,
saying that he cannot depend on Beckham to do his best in
the upcoming games.
